Are you looking for support or support groups?

Our experience and research tells us that couples undergoing their fertility journey are better able to cope and more successful with treatment when they have support outside that of their medical team.  While we always strive to provide our patients with support and comfort, we strongly recommend the following therapists as resources for our patients.

Fenella Das Gupta, Phd., LMFT
In addition to providing individual counseling, Dr. DasGupta leads several fertility groups in conjunction with RESOLVE.  Please contact our office for current groups that are in session.
Ellen Hammerle, Phd., LMFT

Are you interested in acupuncture?

Since 2007 our team of licensed acupuncturists have treated hundreds of women with the pre and post acupuncture protocol on their day of transfer. Currently, about 70 % of Lane Fertility Institute IVF patients choose to have acupuncture at the time of their transfer.

At Lane Fertility Institute, we work closely with an elite group of highly trained fertility specialists in the field of acupuncture.  These practitioners are uniquely trained and skilled in providing acupuncture treatment to women undergoing stimulation cycles using clomid or injectable medications and  in vitro fertilization.  They provide treatment support at the time of egg retrieval and embryo transfer by accompanying patients to the fertility center for these procedures.  Additionally they work with patients who are trying to achieve pregnancy naturally.  Please see the list and location of these practitioners below and let them know if you are working with our facility so that we may work as a team to ensure your seamless and stress-free care.  Typically, these practitioners are working with several of our patients at any given time and our very familiar with our practices and protocols.

Are you interested in nutrition?

We are what we eat!  Increasing evidence supports the fact that diet impacts fertility.  Many resources are now available to help detail what patients should keep and exclude from their diet while on their fertility journey.  Nonetheless, knowing to eat and executing that are different challenges.  Thus we would like to provide you with the following nutritional resources.  These practitioners provide consults for patients to help outline a health fertility diet.  In addition, The Fertile Kitchen Cookbook and its website (listed below) provide a wealth of information about specific recipes that can work for you.
